The Angelus Homes

A Place to Live, to Love and to Learn

The Angelus was founded in 1979 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Within a few short months, The Angelus became “home” for eight children, ranging in age from 2 to 12 years.

The Angelus is now 5 group homes providing residential care to individuals and adult day program services on 17 beautiful wooded acres in Hudson, Florida.

The Angelus is currently hiring dedicated direct care staff. If you feel this is you, call the office at 727-856-1775 to set up an appointment.

Thoughts About The Angelus

  •   "What made me start The Angelus is there was a need for children in wheelchairs who couldn't walk at all. I ended up taking in one child, first. A week later, I got three more. And by the end of the year I had twelve."

  • "There are a lot of worthy causes out there, but I'm proud to tell you about The Angelus. For over 26 years I've been watching how they provide love an support and comfortable housing for the residents that are so severly handicapped, many suffering with Cerebal Palsy."
